How it works
Three steps, no account, under a minute.
Your business, your client, an invoice number and a due date. Turn on VAT if you are registered — the columns appear and a rate is applied.
Line net, VAT per rate and the total due are recalculated in pence (integers), so nothing drifts by a penny. The A4 preview shows exactly what prints.
One click writes an A4 PDF named after the invoice. Long invoices paginate with repeated table headers instead of clipping the totals.
What you get
Ledger rule under the header, a ruled totals block, tabular numerals on every money column — it reads like a bank statement.
Default rate per line, per-line overrides, VAT broken out by rate, and a clean "not VAT registered" note when the toggle is off.
No upload, no server round-trip, no database. Close the tab and the data is gone — that is the point.
44px targets, decimal keypads for quantity and price, and a sticky total bar so the download button is always in reach.
GBP, EUR or USD — the symbol and number formatting follow your choice on both the preview and the PDF.
If a browser blocks the download, Print / Save as PDF uses the print stylesheet so the invoice is still usable.
FAQ
Is my invoice data uploaded anywhere?
No. Every calculation and the PDF itself are generated in your browser. There is no account, no database and no invoice history — the tool has nothing to remember.
What if I am not VAT registered?
Leave the toggle off. All VAT columns and the VAT number line disappear, the invoice says "Not VAT registered" instead, and any per-line rates you typed earlier are ignored rather than reused.
How is VAT rounded?
Each line is rounded to the nearest penny (net = quantity × unit price, VAT = net × rate) and the invoice totals are the sums of those rounded lines — the usual UK presentation. Integer pence are used throughout, so totals never drift.
What if my invoice is long?
The PDF paginates automatically: the line-item table header repeats on each page and the totals block is moved as one piece, so it is never split or clipped.
Can I save and reopen an invoice later?
Deliberately not. This is a one-off document generator; download the PDF and keep that as your record.
