Timezone Converter
Convert any local meeting time to the exact same instant in another zone. Check the fixed world clock before you send the invite.
Convert a meeting slot
One instant, two calendars
Runs entirely on this device.
How it works
From wall clock to confirmed instant
A local time is not a single instant until you attach a zone. The converter resolves the source-zone offset for that date, then applies the target-zone offset at the same instant.
Pick the source wall time
Type the date and time exactly as it appears in the source zone's calendar.
Let DST do its job
The browser's IANA time-zone data supplies the offset for that date, including daylight-saving changes.
Scan the world strip
Confirm the target and nearby cities before you propose the slot to your team.
Built for scheduling
The details that prevent a missed meeting
DST-aware conversion
Offsets are calculated for the chosen date, not a fixed offset that breaks at the next clock change.
Day-shift labels
See whether the target lands on the same day, the next day, or the previous day before you write the invite.
Private by default
All formatting and conversion happen in your browser. Your meeting details are never uploaded.
Fixed world strip
Los Angeles, New York, London, Berlin, Dubai, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney are always one glance away.
Exact offsets
Read the active zone abbreviation and UTC offset alongside the converted local time.
One-click copy
Copy a clean result line containing the date, time, zone and source time for your message.
FAQ
Timezone questions, answered
Does the converter handle daylight saving time?
Yes. It uses the browser's IANA time-zone database to find the offset in effect on the selected date, including DST transitions.
Why is the target date different from the source date?
A large east-west time difference can cross midnight. The day-shift chip and full target date make that change explicit.
What happens when a local time is skipped or repeated?
A spring-forward gap has no matching instant, so the converter asks you to choose another time. During a fall-back overlap, it shows the earlier occurrence and labels the result.
Is my date or time sent to a server?
No. This is a browser-only tool. The page has no API route and performs no network request to convert your time.
Which time-zone names can I use?
Use IANA identifiers such as America/New_York, Europe/Berlin or Asia/Tokyo. The search field suggests the zones supported by your browser.
