How the conversion works
No requests, no account, no stored history.
Set the wall time
Enter a date and time, then choose the timezone those numbers belong to. Press Now to fill the current wall time in that zone.
Add destinations
Search by city, IANA identifier, or common abbreviation such as KST, EST, or JST. Select up to eight comparison zones.
Read the track
Every instant is formatted with Intl using the zone's current DST rules. Watch for dark +1 or −1 badges when the local date changes.
Built for quick scheduling checks
Private by default
Every calculation runs locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server or saved.
DST-aware
Offsets come from the browser's IANA timezone data at the selected instant, not a static list.
Copy-ready UTC
Use the UTC reference and ISO 8601 timestamp when filling in calendars, crons, or scheduler configs.
Timezone converter FAQ
How do I convert KST to EST?
Choose Asia/Seoul (or type KST) as the source, enter the Korean wall time, and add America/New_York (or EST). Korea does not observe daylight saving, while New York does, so the difference changes between summer and winter.
What does the orange warning mean?
It means the wall time you entered happens twice when clocks fall back for daylight saving. The converter shows the earlier occurrence; the gap warning appears when spring-forward skips the entered time entirely.
Are abbreviations like EST always exact?
Abbreviations are search shortcuts, not fixed-offset timezones. EST selects a representative IANA zone (America/New_York), which may be on EDT in summer. For fixed offsets, choose an Etc/GMT zone or an IANA city zone directly.
Is there a target limit?
Yes. You can compare up to eight target zones at once so the result stays readable on phones and desktops. Remove a selected chip to add a different destination.
