Timezone Overlap Finder
Pick two zones and your working hours — instantly see the shared window and the best meeting slots in both local times and UTC.
Find your shared window
How it works
Search any IANA timezone; yours is detected from the browser.
One local range applies to both sides and is converted through UTC.
The bright strip is shared time; the chips are the best slots.
Why it stays useful
Offsets come from the browser timezone database, so DST shifts are handled for today's date.
Each slot shows Zone A local, Zone B local and UTC, so nobody has to do mental math.
Browser-only: nothing is uploaded, stored or logged — not even your zones.
FAQ
How is the overlap calculated?
Both work ranges are converted to minutes from today's UTC midnight. The shared window is the intersection of those two intervals; its length in minutes divided by 60 is the number of shared hours.
What if there is no overlap?
The shared hours read 0.0h and the tool reports the closest gap between the two windows, so you know how much someone would have to flex.
Why do slots come in 30 and 60 minutes?
Meetings are usually booked on half-hour or hour marks, so the ranking only proposes slots on 15-minute boundaries that fully fit inside the shared window.
Does it handle half-hour timezones?
Yes — zones like Asia/Kolkata (+5:30) and Australia/Adelaide (+9:30) are supported, along with 45-minute offsets such as Asia/Kathmandu.
