Create your deck
How it works
Drop in lecture notes, a textbook paragraph or an article excerpt. Optionally add a topic line.
Choose 5, 10, 15 or 20 cards. Key terms are ranked by frequency, topic relevance and position.
Flip each card, mark Know / Don’t Know, fix any wording, then copy the deck or download it as CSV.
Why students use it
Sentences like “X is Y” or “X: Y” become “What is X?” cards; everything else becomes a fill-in-the-blank card built from the sentence itself.
A progress bar and tally run through the deck, and the summary lets you re-study only the cards you missed.
Rewrite, delete or add cards inline, then copy the numbered Q/A or download a UTF-8 CSV named after your topic for Anki or Sheets.
FAQ
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. Key-point extraction, deck building, flipping, editing and export all run in your browser — nothing is sent to a server and nothing is stored.
Do I need an account or a key?
No sign-up, no API key, no cost. Open the page, paste your notes and create the deck.
How are the questions generated?
The text is split into sentences, repeated non-trivial words are ranked as key terms (topic words get a boost), and each term is matched to the best sentence containing it. Definition-shaped sentences become “What is …?” cards and the rest become cloze cards with the blanked sentence on the front.
Why did I get fewer cards than I asked for?
Each card needs a distinct key term in its own sentence. Short excerpts simply do not contain 20 unique points, so the deck is trimmed rather than padded with duplicates.
Can I import this into Anki?
Yes — download the CSV (question, answer) and import it with comma separation and UTF-8 encoding. The file is named after your topic.
What if I only type a topic?
You get an editable scaffold deck with prompts about that topic, plus a note telling you to paste notes and regenerate.
