How it works
Choose your country preset and 300 or 600 DPI. The target becomes an exact pixel count — 35×45 mm at 300 DPI is 413×531 px.
Drag the photo so the head sits between the crown and chin lines. The preview redraws as you move, and warns in amber if the head band is off-spec.
Export the exact-size JPEG, and a tiled print sheet with cut guides so a lab or home printer gives you several copies at once.
What it checks for you
Output is computed as mm ÷ 25.4 × DPI and rounded, so the file measures exactly what the form asks for.
If your source cannot fill the frame at the chosen DPI, export is blocked and the minimum is reported instead of silently upscaling.
Crown and chin lines show the preset's allowed head range; out-of-range values turn amber but never block the download.
Photos are decoded with imageOrientation “from-image”, so portrait shots from a phone are not sideways.
The sheet tiles as many copies as fit on 4×6, 5×7 or A4 with 2 mm gutters and dashed cut lines.

Which sizes are supported?
US 2×2 in (51×51 mm), Schengen/EU, Germany, UK and Australia 35×45 mm, India 51×51 mm, China 33×48 mm and Canada 50×70 mm — each with its own head-height band.
Why is my download blocked?
The crop frame does not cover enough source pixels for the selected DPI. Upload a larger photo or switch to 300 DPI; the tool will not upscale silently.
My iPhone HEIC file will not load.
Browsers cannot decode HEIC. Convert to JPEG first (Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible, or share the photo and re-save as JPEG) and upload that.
Can it remove or change the background?
No. This is a crop-and-export tool only — it never alters, pads or repaints your photo.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
Never. All decoding, cropping and tiling happens in your browser; closing the tab discards everything.
Before you submit
Sizes and head-height bands here are generic references, not official advice. Requirements change and some authorities add rules about background, expression, glasses, head coverings or photo age. Always verify the current specification with the issuing authority (for example the US Department of State, HM Passport Office or your embassy) before printing and sending your photo.
