Online File Compressor & ZIP Maker
Shrink JPEG and PNG images, or pack any set of files into one tidy ZIP. Everything is processed on your device, so private scans and CVs never touch a server.
01 / Add files
Drop it. Shrink it. Download it.

03 / Name the archive
Your files stay in this browser tab.
How it works
Three steps. No upload.
Built for the moment a portal says your file is too large and you need a smaller version now.
Choose your files
Drag a batch into the dotted box or browse from your phone. Review each file before you start.
Pick a mode
ZIP everything into one archive, or reduce JPEG/PNG dimensions and JPEG quality for a lighter image set.
Take the smaller file
See the before-and-after size, then download immediately. The tab does the work; no queue or account.
Why browser-only matters
Your scan never leaves this tab.
Exam scans, identity documents, signed PDFs and family photos are easy to hand to a random upload site without thinking. Here, the file data is read by your browser's own file and canvas APIs. There is no upload endpoint, no cloud queue and no server-side copy.
ZIP without ZIP software
The page writes a standard ZIP locally. Text-like files use browser deflate compression; already-compressed formats are stored efficiently.
Image controls that stay sane
Long-edge limits never upscale. If an optimized image would be larger than the original, the original is kept instead.
Made for a phone
Large touch targets, one-column controls and a scroll-safe file manifest keep the workflow usable at 375 px.
FAQ
Small print, in plain language.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. File reading, image resizing, ZIP creation and the final download all happen in this browser tab. The tool has no file-upload API route.
Why did my image barely shrink?
JPEG responds to the quality slider. PNG is generally lossless, so choose a smaller maximum long edge to reduce its pixel dimensions. If the browser's rewrite is not smaller, the original is kept.
Does ZIP mode shrink every file?
It packs every file into one ZIP. Files that can be deflated, such as text or CSV, are compressed. JPEGs, PNGs, PDFs and other already-compressed formats are usually stored as-is because re-compressing them rarely helps.
What if my phone runs out of memory?
Try batches under 40 files and 300 MB, and process images separately from large videos. Closing other tabs frees memory. The warning above the file list appears before you start.
